Conceived for large groups, C’est Bon Cooking’s Forest-to-Table Culinary Events are led by professional chefs and feature a meal made with local Canadian products and boreal forest ingredients. Participants will not only enjoy a delicious forest-inspired meal but will learn more about how our forests feed us – mind, body and spirit!

Off-Site Culinary Events
We’ve partnered with the folks at the Just Food Farm and the Vanier Sugar Shack to deliver one-of-a-kind cooking experiences that will elevate your cooking and heighten your appreciation for the forests that surround us.
Both facilities are situated within 15 minutes of downtown!
Event Features
Pre-set, three-course meal: We’ve carefully developed a menu that features forest ingredients in every dish and still facilitates dietary restrictions and the conditions of cooking outside of a kitchen environment.
MENU: Greens with Forest-Spiced Vinaigrette – Boreal Forest Risotto – Maple Dessert
Guests will partake in putting together the main course. Salad and dessert will be prepared in advance.
Sustainability Presentation: While dining, guests will learn more about the work conducted by Forêt Capitale Forest, a charitable organization working in Ottawa to plant trees and educate people on the importance of food forests and afforestation.

In-Kitchen Cooking – ByWard Market
Enjoy a relaxed and content-rich cooking experience in our fully-equipped kitchens on Dalhousie Street, in the quieter part of the ByWard Market. Only 10-minutes walk from the Rogers Centre, or 5 minutes walk from the National Gallery of Canada.
You’ll consult with our chefs on the menu for your event based on your group’s dietary considerations. The menu will feature forest ingredients in every dish and local, in-season products, when available.
Guests will partake in putting together the first and main courses. The dessert will be prepared in advance.
Once your meal is done, shop from our Forest Pantry for some of the spices and ingredients you will have discovered during your cooking experience!
